This is a calling that came late in life for me. I never considered myself to be an "artist" and I was afraid to pick up a brush and paint, even though I secretly wanted to. My husband bought me a beginner painting set and it sat for over a year because I did not know what to do with it. I finally got up the courage to call a friend who
This is a calling that came late in life for me. I never considered myself to be an "artist" and I was afraid to pick up a brush and paint, even though I secretly wanted to. My husband bought me a beginner painting set and it sat for over a year because I did not know what to do with it. I finally got up the courage to call a friend who is an artist and she sat with me and taught me how to hold the brush ad how to work with the paint. It was exciting and I was hooked! I learned that everyone is an artist and all we need to do is let go of the judgement that "I am not good enough." I am not out to create "fine art" - my want is to create "happy art". Art that helps people to smile and art that makes me smile as I create it. Art has helped me through some dark times in my life. This is magic and we all get to do it!

There is no doubt that my inspiration comes from my grandchildren. Fairies, Flowers and Feathers are what gives them joy. So when they ask for a fairy painting or rainbows or flowers or unicorns, I am there to create that image for them.
